FM 544, Wylie, Texas More details and tickets at WylieChamber.org/Wylie-Rodeo Sponsored by the Wylie Chamber of Commerce, the Wylie Championship Rodeo is a two-night United Professional Rodeo Association-sanctioned rodeo. In its 27th year, the rodeo features rough stock events, such as bull riding and bronc busting. Attendees are also invited to shop at over 50 concession and vendor booths with free kids' games and a Kiddie Korral featuring inflatable bounce houses. The Wylie East and Wylie High FFA students host a petting zoo and mechanical bull rides. The rodeo has become one of the more popular Wylie community events, with thousands gathering under the autumn sky to watch the action in the arena, enjoy the family activities outside, and gather with friends and neighbors. Wylie's rodeo has evolved into a high-powered, rough-stock event, but it began as a ranch rodeo featuring everyday ranch hand duties such as doctoring, sorting and bronco riding - activities that involved the taming and branding of wild animals. Over the years, it has become the high-energy event it is today. For more information, visit WylieChamber.org or call 972-442-2804. Frequently Asked Questions Wylie Rodeo Facebook |
